Need use of the meters?

10/13/2009 at the city council meeting, it was brought up about the lack of electricity for booths at the October Fest.  I called SEMO Electric concerning this issue.  They referred me to Chris and he stated that they pulled the meters a couple of months ago.  The meters had been in place for 2 years and it was an oversight on their part to have left the meters that long.  Whenever the city has the occasion to use the meters, the organization responsible for the festival needs to contact SEMO Electric at least 2 days before the event.  They will send a truck to install the meters and then will pull the meters after the event.  The organization will be charged a truck fee but not a user fee.  You need to ask for Jerry Dockins or Chris if Jerry is not available.  The number is 568-4611.
